The Melanoma and Skin Cancer Group provides the opportunity for communication and collaboration between clinical, epidemiological and laboratory specialists interested in skin cancer. The Group is predominantly interested in basic melanoma biology, epidemiology of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, dermatology and the surgical and medical management of melanoma.

The main aim of the Group is to cross the boundaries between disciplines, not only in clinical care but also in clinical and laboratory research. Accordingly members of the Group come from diverse backgrounds including surgery, dermatology, epidemiology, laboratory research, data management, nursing, medical oncology, palliative care and radiation oncology.
