Healthy workplace culture in health systems: A proposed National Framework
Details on this project
Given the importance of healthy workplace culture as the foundation for the wellbeing of our already stretched workforce, COSA Council endorsed a proposal led by Professor Sabe Sabesan to develop a contemporary workplace culture framework.
We define a healthy workplace culture as:
A way of functioning in which members from all layers and streams of the workforce; guided by organisational values and in partnership with consumers, enable and care for each other to achieve the organisational purpose, and in doing so, place wellbeing of the workforce and consumers at the centre.
COSA Council approved the framework on 22 March 2024.
Download the endorsed framework.
COSA will now use this document to lobby government, education providers and system leaders to adopt the framework to guide their culture initiatives.
