Upcoming GOEER Meeting
The next Geriatric Oncology Emerging Experts and Researchers (GOEER) meeting will be held on Wednesday 5 June from 530pm-7pm AEST. GOEER is Chaired by Dr Michael Krasovitsky and participation is open to self-identifying emerging clinicians from all cancer-related disciplines who are interested in geriatric oncology. Currently, GOEER is working on a number of research, education and advocacy initiatives, including strengthening the representation of geriatric indices on the eviQ platform. Join the GO Community of Practice
The first meeting of the GO Community of Practice is being held Thursday 30 May from 630pm-800pm, please email [email protected] if you wish to attend. The Geriatric Oncology Group is building a Community of Practice to share the barriers, enablers and solutions to problems encountered in daily practice, increase understanding about how different models of care work in differing local environments, and provide the opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences. If you are interested in hearing more about our Community of Practice and getting involved with our discussions please send your expression of interest to [email protected] (noting your organisation, State/Territory, health system and discipline).
