Cancer patients suffering from rare or aggressive forms of the disease could soon be able to specifically tailor treatment to their genes, making it easier to attack the disease. A new genomic sequencing test, led by researchers at Melbourne University, is set to be rolled out over the next three years, giving doctors a chance to pinpoint the real-time make-up of genes of more than 1000 cancer sufferers.
