The Lung Group offers its members access to information regarding current and emerging therapeutic strategies for the treatment of lung cancer and malignant pleural mesothelioma, as well as new diagnostics and basic science research.
Strong links have been forged with The Thoracic Society of Australia & New Zealand (TSANZ) and the Australasian Lung Trials Group (ALTG), and the Lung Cancer Group sees itself as playing a pivotal role in advancing knowledge about the most common fatal malignancy in Australian society.
