Gynaecology

The Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) functions as the Gynaecological Oncology group of COSA.  ANZGOG is an interdisciplinary group with membership open to anyone in Australia and New Zealand with an interest in the management of women with gynaecological malignancies, including medical, gynaecological and radiation oncologists, research nurses, pathologists, epidemiologists and others.

ANZGOG conducts research through clinical trials to improve the prevention, early detection and treatment of women with gynaecological cancers. Our current research portfolio consists of clinical trials in ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancers.

ANZGOG works with various other groups and organisations outside of COSA including the Australian Society of Gynaecological Oncologists (ASGO), the Psycho-Oncology Cooperative Group (PoCoG), the TransTasman Radiation Oncology Group and internationally, with the Gynaecological Cancer Intergroup (GCIG) and the Gynaecological Oncology Group - USA (GOG).  Our international collaboration has allowed ANZGOG to take a leading role in a number of global clinical trials.
