Clinical audit activities play a vital role in the improvement of the quality of health services. The impacts are wide-ranging, from improvements to clinical practice, enhanced treatment guidelines and protocols, and provision of evidence which can be used to make significant changes in healthcare provision and policy.
The Research and Audit subgroup aims to provide peer support to professionals involved in clinical audit and disease registry activities, by providing a forum for representation, discussion, education collaboration and networking.
